Position Responsibilities:

Provided strategic leadership and assessment for undergraduate and graduate residential communities consisting of 950-1100 standard, suite, and apartment-style options both on and off campus
Directly supervised master-level professionals (4-7) and direction to multiple levels of para-professional staff (25-35) through hiring, training, supervision, development, evaluation, and termination
Developed, monitored, and completed annual reports of the department budget totaling more than $9,000,000
Clarified office objectives through daily tasks and special projects and campus programming in a high-volume, student-friendly environment
Executed high-level conduct hearings with sanctioning authority through campus suspension; oversee the residential conduct case management and served on the Behavioral Assessment Team
Provided essential input and vision for the usage, maintenance, renovations, and planning of capital expenditures in partnership with Building & Grounds, Procurement, Janitorial, and the Dean of Students

Managed room assignment data entry, tracking, and resident demographics reporting
Coordinated residential duty rotation and serve as the highest on-campus authority
Invasively advised a caseload of students using individual success plans for LIU Promise mission alignment
